Move in day! (and by day I mean week)
Today we begin moving into our newly expanded office! Our office is on the first floor of a historic building which is divided up into 2 offices. We had already been in the smaller office and today we are expanding into the other side as well! We are so excited not to be working on top of each other anymore!!
Here are a few pictures!
Here are a few pictures!
Mom behind the "reception desk" aka our new gift wrap/shipping area.
This will be transformed into a bar for our christmas party! :)
The main part of the office.
The french doors to the front go to our new conference room (something we never had before!)
The display in the foyer of the office. This area actually bridges our new "wholesale and custom departments" with the retail shop we already have in place.
Our retail store!
Which will be 3 times bigger once we move all the wholesale and custom to the other side!
Our current office which will now hold all back stock. Notice how CRAMPED everything is!
I cant wait for everything to be complete!!
On that note... our retail store is one year old this week so....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PILLOW TALK SHOP!!

ESPN Mag?? what??!
My brilliant boyfriend just had a little interview with ESPN magazine last week!! Woo hoo!! He is the marketing director for the local minor league baseball team. They called him to talk to him about the "Oregon Trail" promotional night they did over the summer. He said that its probably going to be a small excerpt in a huge article they are writing and will be lucky if they even mention his name... well you know what I say? STILL A HUGE DEAL!! :)
Way to go Matt!!

Amazing discovery at the grocery store...
Ok soooo... I normally TRY this kind of stuff and either spit it out or manage to choke it down and regret it later due to a nasty after taste... BUT (and thats a big but), I discovered the most amazing pasta substitute today! It is made of tofu and measures in at 20 calories a serving!! I looked at the bag and thought... well... this looks kind of gross, but how bad can it be covered in pesto, marinara, or an alfredo with reasonable calories...
I came home, made my pasta and tossed it with alfredo, basil, roma tomatoes, and 1 slice of crumbeled bacon for extra flavor (and bacon is good on everything- I mean who is kidding who).
So I ended up with an entire plate of pasta (2 servings of the tofu noodles- i.e. 1 bag) doused in delish ingredients and the total calorie count was 190!! That was with a little parmesan sprinkled on the top!
SO if anyone is watching their figure, but not wanting to eat like they aren't- I highly recommend these!! I also think they would be even better in a stir fry!

Love in Technicolor... the wedding photo booth!
I have yet to upload any pictures from my camera or my moms camera... BUT... I did order my prints from the photo booth.
BTW- to anyone who is getting married... I highly recommend doing something like this at the reception. If your guests are photo-tarded like I am, they will regret not taking enough pictures at the wedding and wish they had more... and these ones turn out so CUTE!!! Here they are...

How to make a button! (for the non computer savvy)
1. I went to picnik photo editing and uploaded pictures (I pulled 2 fun ones from google images)... had a TON of fun messing around with their photo shop. I resized the image so that it was no bigger than 200x200 (its recommended to be 125x125... but thats kind of tiny).
2. I saved the image to my desktop (you can save it anywhere as long as its accessible to be re-loaded onto the net)
3. Then I followed instructions 2-5 on the following link: click me!
The only thing I did differently was instead of putting it on my sidebar... I made a new page for buttons- as you can see my sidebar is a little overloaded!!!
So there ya go! And please grab a button!!! :)
