The Great Outdoors... and Indoors!

Last weekend Matt and I went hiking and I would like to share the gorgeous view of the river valley in which we live...

These were taken at Spencer's Butte... the highest peak in eugene with a 360 degree view of the valley. I didn't take a photo of downtown... mostly because we stuck to the south side of the peak... it was quieter over there...

So glad I get to live here...

 So pretty!
And save the best for last...
He is so awesome about putting up with my picture taking- he hates taking photos. Especially since I refused to have my photo taken because I was not looking so hot!

I have also been working on sprucing up my house!
(I apologize for the terrible photography! iphone photos!)

New blue chair, and new monogrammed coffee-table cloth (which are impractical unless you put a glass top on it... which I did! :) )
if there is one thing I hate its blank walls... I recently added this vintage travel poster of Japan to a wall in my bedroom...
My fabulous new headboard!! I just love it... also in the back my wall monogram. We carry them at my shop and are quite the hot ticket items!
Spruced up bedside table with vintage breakfast at tiffany print, new photo and frame of Matt and I, and the coral vase of faux blue and white polka dot Gerber Dasies...

I just love it...

Thats all for today!! I hope you are all having a fabulous day!!

Today could have been better...

but it ended perfect!

...I ended my day with one of my favorites! :)

and tomorrow night is date night with Mr. Matt! So looking forward to some quality time with my #1 favorite!! :)

There is an assembled lasagna I have sitting in the fridge just waiting to be baked before a late night showing of something fabulous!

This is fun...

And makes me want Cupcakes... which is a bad thing.

I was sick for 2 weeks and am finally back at the gym working on damage control. They say starve a fever and feed a cold... well I definitely fed my cold!!

I also have a large slice of carrot cake in the fridge that wont stop staring at me left over from girls night on friday.

Anyone have any fab dieting tips?? I have to look tip top for my trip to vegas, trip to mexico, and various weddings I am going to this summer!

R & W, B.B.R., and L-E-N-T! (tons of photos!)

Ok... lets play catch up! We just had Junior League of Eugene's Red and White Soiree! It was such a success! We raised a little under $20,000 through a silent auction, ticket sales, paddle raising, and a raffle! All of the money goes to support the Foster Children of Lane County... I was in charge of the Event design and the silent auction! So I had the pleasure of designing the floorplan of the event as well as gathering donations and arranging them into pretty baskets...

Here are some photos of the event:

I had a BLAST doing the event design... since the theme is always red and white I did an asian inspired design... with silk fans as the table markers, cherry blossom centerpieces, and LOTS of chinese lanterns.

This past weekend Matt and I went to Black Butte and it was so much fun!!

Here are some photos of that!

Matt's line up at Three Creeks Brewery... beer tasting is so great in Oregon!
Delish!

last but not least... I have given up something that I thoroughly enjoy for Lent... sigh...

Shopping.

yeah... we will see how long that lasts... If I make it 2 weeks it will be a miracle.

thats all for now!

Coming up: Megan's Picks for March!!

I woke up this morning feeling ambitious...

I don't know why, but I woke up feeling like I could tackle a big project.

I think it might have something to do with the fact that today is the day that I begin work on launching a small online store on the amazon marketplace of the goods we manufacture. Right now we just have the "window shopping" website that we have had for a few years for out retail shops that carry our product. We are gradually changing that into a full e-commerce page. Given the fact that I am a little impatient when it comes to our company (which might be my new years resolution for next year :) ), I have decided that I want people to be able to buy our goods now! So that is todays project...

I have also created some new pillows over the past few weeks... let me share...
(I am going to include the sizes because photos can be misleading when it comes to size)

This was a custom crib pillow I just completed for a gal who just had a baby.
(15x8 crib pillow- not including the ruffle which adds 6 inches to the length and width)
I am trying to figure out a way for people to order custom pillows online without it costing me my first born child... if anyone has any ideas as to how to have a custom website without spending a ton of money- Let me know!

"I Heart Oregon"
(5x7 hanging door pillow)

"let them eat cake"... This one is my favorite!! Its hanging on the front door of my apartment.

Our newest edition to the initial line! I love these and they can come in a full monogram.
(11x11 throw pillow)

Inspired by the cloudy weather... hahaha... just waiting for that sunshine!
(14x14 throw pillow)

Anyway... I was so inspired after New York that I have some great other pillows coming out soon too. Since I am really dialed in at work today I figured I would take a break and share it with you!
